Do you sympathise Jack?
No, I do not symphathise Jack. He had to live with his mum, who is a widow, by selling milk from their cow--Milky White. They had to rely on the milk to survive. However, what he did to the ogre is despicable. Twice he stole the ogre's valaubles-- the golden hen and the gold, while asking the ogre's wife for breakfast. But he did not stop after stealing those. He found it unsatisfactory and thus he stole the golden harp. What he did was out of greed and does not need my symphathy.

Do you sympathise the ogre?
Yes, I do symphatise the ogre. He lost his valuables due to Jack. Twice, he kept smelling an Englishman in his house but his wife made an excuse for Jack to escape. But she did not know that Jack escaped not only unscathed, but also with their valuables. When he climbed up the beanstalk for the third time out of greediness, the ogre found out and chased him down the beanstalk. Unfortunately for the ogre, Jack took an axe and chopped the beanstalk down. Hence, the ogre died.

First Assignment:
Do you sympathise The Joker?
I do not sympathise the Joker. Heis a reckless killer who kills everybody in his path, regardless who they are. It is like when his men and him went to rob a bank, he let his men do his dirty work and in the end, he killed his own men so that he can get what he wants. Somewhere in the movie, he attempted to blow 2 people up. He was evil and told the Gotham police different addresses to where they can save the victims. In the end, the girl died while the other man was disfigured. The Joker told the man the greatness of evil and the man started killing people by a flip of a coin. The Joker is a merciless killer who just do not need us to sympathise.

What have you learnt from this lesson?
I learnt that impressions are formed by speech/thoughts, image/appearance, relationships with others, actions and background. I have also learnt about the similarities and differences between Batman and Joker.
